clearly. So if that’s panning the drums, drummer
perspective, I’ll do that. I like to have my guitars
panned because I can hear perspective wise
who’s doing what, and the same with keys. I
really feel that if I can have a good gauge of
what everyone is doing and I can still perform
well, that’s my focus with in-ear mixing. Maybe
like an album mix but with bass slightly louder
just so I can feel it.
[WM] Has the gear you are using and the way
you use it changed for this gig?
[David] It definitely has. I think the big thing is
using an amp. I think in 2018 there’s not a lot
of people advocating for amps, but I feel like I
have always been that advocate. Even when I
was doing more church based things I would
really want to use an amp on stage and it was
really just to help the stage dynamics. I always
thought I played better when there was an amp
