PEDALBOARDS KEVIN MACDOUGALL My board has gotten steadily less “boutique” over the years, as I’ve found the sounds I preferred and gravitated back toward pedals I could easily replace from anywhere. The board itself is from Salvage Custom, and I power everything with a Truetone 1 Spot Pro CS12 underneath. > Boss TU-3 Tuner > MXR Studio Compressor (always on, stealthy and transparent compression) > Truetone Custom Shop OD (always on when I use single coils, very low gain fattening) > Truetone Route 66 Comp & OD (heavier comp for swells and light arpeggios, etc) > Crowther Audio Hotcake (the heart of my sound) > Electro-Harmonix Flatiron Fuzz > Boss SY-1 Synthesizer (crucial for a lot of modern lead parts) > Dunlop DVP-1 Volume This all goes in front of the amp. Then, in the effects loop: > Boss RV-6 Reverb (Shimmer) > Boss DD-500 Delay > Boss RV-5 Reverb (Modulate) #WMPEDALBOARD 98 May 2020 Subscribe for Free...
