GEAR REVIEW chassis with two sturdy antennas. It comes with rack ears and joints to connect two units into one rack space. Included also are the VocoPro IE-9 single-driver earphones. The belt-pack receiver also has a metal body with an easy-to-read battery and signal meter. I really like the discrete design. There really is no need for an LED screen. I love that it has a rechargeable battery that charges with a basic micro-USB cable. For hearing protection, the volume knob has resistance when turning past 50% so that you know where you are in the volume knob sweep. There is a gain control knob on the transmitter to set up the appropriate listening level. I have it set high enough that I set the body pack at the place where it starts resistance. This way I know my level is good and I still have headroom if I need a boost during service. I also appreciate that the body-pack is lightweight. Overall, this is a solid unit with fantastic sound and clarity. I have had issues with much higher priced wireless systems that would experience sound blinks or connection problems. I have used this system for multiple Sunday services as well as rehearsals over the course of three weeks with not a single issue or interference inside of a church with a number of wireless signals plus WIFI operating at the same time. In the video, I show how simple it is to change channels (including stereo and mono) and quickly sync the receiver and transmitter together. You may buy it because of the retail price of $299, but I think you’ll keep it for the product quality. It’s so nice to not be dependent upon AA batteries… just keep the body-pack receiver charged and it’s ready to go. Retail $299 www.VocoPro.com March 2019 Subscribe for Free... 179
