There comes a point when an audio interface stops being simply the box that gets audio into your computer and becomes the traffic controller for the entire room. Worship musicians often reach that point quickly. A vocal mic and acoustic guitar become a stereo keyboard, guitar modeler, MIDI gear, two monitor systems, headphones for a second musician, and perhaps an external preamp or compressor. The AudioFuse Studio Rev2 is designed for that moment: not merely as an interface with more sockets, but as a compact studio hub that can remain wired and ready.
The basic architecture is substantial. AudioFuse Studio provides four DiscretePRO mic / instrument / line preamps, four additional analog line inputs, four analog inserts, two pairs of balanced speaker outputs, two independent headphone systems, two auxiliary outputs with reamping capability, MIDI I / O, S / PDIF, Word Clock, ADAT, Bluetooth, and a three-port USB hub. At standard 44.1 or 48kHz rates, its USB audio mapping can present 20 recording inputs and 18 playback outputs, including dedicated stereo loopback channels. That is enough connectivity to turn a desktop setup into a genuinely flexible production station.
The four primary inputs are the heart of the front end. Arturia specifies the Rev2 microphone preamps at a typical 78dB gain range, including a + 17dB Boost mode for lowoutput microphones, with a maximum input level of + 18dBu. The mic input impedance is 3.4k ohms, equivalent input noise is specified at-129dBu unweighted, THD + N at 1kHz is-107dB A-weighted, and dynamic range is 118dB A-weighted. A 20dB pad is available for
