Warning this new product maybe addictive to guitarists . Okay now that I have that disclaimer out of the way let ’ s discuss Fender ’ s new Mustang Micro Plus . Worship Musician received one of the early demos for this crafty music tone tool and it was not easy to stop playing it long enough to write this article . The original Fender Mustang Micro amp was released in April of 2021 and provided great sound quality and portability . Three years later the Fender Mustang Micro Plus delivers more than twice the amount of amp models and effects in a pocket-sized package .
With the Plus we now have 25-amp models , 25 effects and 100 savable preset slots . The nine selectable EQ curves are also of huge benefit depending on the guitar , pickups and whether they are passive or active pickups . And it has a usable built-in onboard tuner with tape tempo . The integrated display screen is a big help too as you are cycling through sounds .
