DAY 3 With the use of a ‘ baby bend ’ on the b3 , you can use the Minor Pentatonic scale to play over Major chords in certain progressions , the included backing track for this lesson being one of them .
DAY 4 Utilizing the same progression as Day 3 , this one shows you how to toggle between two different Modes played off the same root , utilizing something called the Pitch Axis .
DAY 6 Well , with all the talk about tapping , I figured I ’ d include at least one tapping-flavored lesson . This one shows you how to play not one , but two patterns of the Minor Pentatonic scale at the same time using , you guessed it , two hand tapping .
DAY 7 Pedal tones are all about toggling back and forth between a range of shifting notes , and a single note that functions as the aforementioned pedal . This one incorporates some speed picking as well , just to spice things up . It actually makes it easier , in case you were wondering .
DAY 10 Based on another free backing track , this one demonstrates how easy it is to ‘ see ’ the underlying relationship between scales and chords , a dare I say is a must watch for those truly hungry to ‘ connect the dots ’.
DAY 12 If you really want to unlock the fingerboard , knowing notes names is the best way to get there in the least amount of time . This lesson will give you a great strategy to put that in motion .
