The guitar really excels as a versatile electric . The humbuckers are well-voiced , and in single coil mode , they ’ re very Strat-like . In single coil middle position , it ’ s reminiscent of the neck and middle position sound on a PRS Silver Sky model .
Having 24 frets can be handy , significantly if you are changing keys between male and female voices . We sometimes have to use a capo high up on the fretboard for the open note voicings . With these pickups , I noticed single-note lines are really cutting through the mix . The upper frets are well-intonated and not buzzing . That ’ s a great accomplishment .
