NEW MUSIC
Lyrically , the song focuses the listener on all the incredible blessings given to us by God thus the reason for our giving back of praise to Him .
“ Follow Jesus ” is next in line and is a humble , acoustic anthem remembering how God finds us in the midst of our sinfulness and the decision we are called to make to live our lives in response to what He has done .
“ Praise Belongs ” wraps up the little EP and is the best of the trio . This track is Sunday ready and is gorgeous vertical worship piece about the deliverance we receive through the blood and resurrection of Jesus . The upright piano backing and soaring melodies give this song warmth and life .
While I wouldn ’ t say these songs blew my mind or were anything other than the typical fare that has been floating around the worship scene for years , these are well written and delivered for the most part and could easily be picked up by your worship teams .

Life . Church is a multi-site church ministry with locations all over the United States . Best known for helping bring online worship to the forefront during the pandemic , their online presence through life . church . tv is used by millions around the world . Their worship collective , Life . Church Worship is a combination of Life . Church worship pastors whose sole purpose is to produce music that draws listeners closer to the heart of Jesus while reminding us how much we need Him .
To say their latest release , Sing As One is a big album is an understatement , not just because of the astronomical 18 tracks of music it contains , but also because the songs themselves are both very meaty in content , style and instrumentation . This is also a very eclectic album that represents the diversity of Life . Church with styles ranging from southern rock to pop , techno to R & B . There is basically something for everyone to enjoy on this huge collection blows in our lives . The slide guitars , low bass and keyboard drones mixed with the gritty yet declarative chorus declaring the faithfulness of God , make this a standout track probably better used as a performance song rather than a congregational one .
“ Thank You ” reminds the listener about all that God has done and continues to do for us in light of our daily struggles . This track is much more Sunday morning friendly with its catchy melodies and important message that will put things in perspective for the worshiper .
“ Clean Heart ” is a reflective adaptation of Psalm 51 calling on God to fill our hearts with His light and love while “ Faithful ” is on the other end of the musical spectrum with its R & B soulful style including a Gospel choir , funky bass lines and jazzy organs .
There are a lot of wonderful musical moments to cherish and worship along with on Sing As One . The vocal performances are off the charts and the writing is solid throughout . It may be difficult for the average worship team to emulate a good number of these songs however because the arrangements and instrumental prowess displayed on these tracks are pretty high end , but with a little imagination and re-working , I think a lot of these songs can be massaged to fit your Sunday morning context . 1 . Sing As One 2 . Unstoppable 3 . Turning ( Running To You )
“ Let the Wind Blow ” is a smoky southern rocker that sounds like it came straight from of a Chris Stapleton album . This song is a powerful reminder that our God is in control of every situation no matter how hard the wind
