For our NAMM Show report a few months back I gave this new Circa74 amp one of my “ 5 Cool Things I Saw at NAMM ” awards . And it truly deserved it . Now after having one to test drive in person , I couldn ’ t be more convinced . This is something special . From its Mid-Century Modern good looks ( every baby boomer guitarist will want one in their living room – not to mention it will make a worship platform look good too ), to its 150-watt capability , separate guitar and vocal channels with digital reverb and tone controls , mahogany tonewood sides and back , and Bluetooth capabilities – the new Circa74 offers quite the package . Throw in the slanted wood stool to aim it right at you on stage ( or to your audience ) and you have quite a hit on your hands . I predict that Taylor will sell thousands of these .
After the NAMM Show was over , I got a call from Bob Taylor himself . I had told him that part of our plans for 2024 and beyond was to increase our retail offerings side of things alongside the magazine . I had managed a music store for 11 years in Los Angeles and now we are selling a select number of products that we really believe in on-line in two different Reverb stores . Solo Dallas pedals , Riggio Custom Guitars , LR Baggs , and we are just now adding EFNOTE Drums into the mix . Plus , we sell vintage and used guitars and basses too .
