“ I think it is time for the church to rise up . I see that more and more . Church is the place where what God wants to do is going to happen . I can ’ t see it happening any other way . So , that ’ s what we are giving our lives to . Being involved here in Brighton – I travel when I can , but – the heart of it is serving the local people and seeing God ’ s glory come here . I think if everyone focused on that it would have a huge ripple effect , wouldn ’ t it ?”
I got to know Martin from my years of promoting Delirious ? concerts ( my favorite live worship band then by far ) and through the band interviews as well in the magazine . This was the first time ‘ post-Delirious ’ and as always Martin is attentively polite with good things to say . I like how the English can end a statement with a question , don ’ t you ?
