All IEM’ s need to be cleaned. It was just a week ago, that I had to pull one of my ears just as service started because it“ closed up” and I could not hear through it! Have you been there? I’ ve had great monitors for several years; it’ s about time that I serviced them with simple cleaning!
Speaking of cleaning … cleaning the vacuum is an absolute breeze. Simple, straight pins can clean the inside of the attachment tips.
Then, wiping down the tips with alcohol would make them sanitary as you switch between individual IEM’ s. All of the“ collection” is caught on removable foam filters that fit right inside the end of the vacuum. You just have to unscrew the end piece, remove and replace the little round filter, and it’ s good to go. There are a couple of replaceable O-rings there as well to ensure an airtight fit.
Quit wondering if your IEM’ s will be clean enough for Sunday and make the Vac Pro a part of your production setup. MSRP is $ 299 and comes in a hard case with five tips, charging adapters, replacement filters / o-rings, and cleaning pins. Runtime for the battery is 80 minutes.
