you say about the element of risk , because even connecting to the other song . And while you ’ re talking about the communal experience , the communal worship experience , having everyone at the table . I do know that that ’ s something that for us as a team and as a worship team , is something that we live out as part of our essence . We wanted risk . We don ’ t want to make things that are just comfortable from the aesthetic perspective to sound selection , and to lighting and lyrics . And that space we feel comfortable in and we love it . When we were writing “ Everything At Your Feet ”, there ’ s one line in the song that talks about surrendering everything to God , which is nothing new . But then I think it was Mariah that came out with the idea of saying the little things . To me , it feels so fresh and it makes me think a lot more of the meaning of surrender . This is another level of risk . It ’ s another level of intimacy with Jesus .
For instance , if I get angry a lot . Those are the little things . Sometimes I show up late to places .
Those are the little things . The list is different for everyone , but the idea of surrendering every little thing to God is to us so fresh . And I love that song . It ’ s a song that when we sing live , is very moving , and it puts you in a very reflective spirit .

We ’ re always willing to try a song that ’ s half baked , and bear our soul and deal with whatever consequences come , I guess . But they played it .
They had feedback and it was always like , “ Hey , the chorus and the bridge of the song are really special . There ’ s something very contagious about the bridge , very freeing about the bridge ”. There ’ s a lyric and it says , “ No one that knows me could ever deny that they find me dancing where I used to hide . The idea is that I ’ m not who I was anymore . And so we trashed the verses and we played the chorus and the bridge on Easter Sunday because we knew it ’ s a beautiful reflection of that moment where you step into a new life with Jesus .
The reality of His resurrection really changes you from the inside out . And it felt like this song isn ’ t even fully done , but we ’ re going to play it on the biggest Sunday of the year . And so after a few months of singing it , we decided to write verses for it . The song was so good we just didn ’ t give up on it . So we took it , we went , we
