For more than two decades Passion has been gathering students and adults together through worship , prayer and God ’ s word and their conferences have given the church some of the best-loved songs of this millennium . Their latest live release , I ’ ve Witnessed It was recorded at the 2023 Passion Conference back in January across two events and featured over 30,000 students in attendance at Mercedes Benz Stadium in Atlanta .
Crowder lends his southern rock roots on the powerful , hope laden , “ King ” which is a declaration of Christ ’ s kingly attributes . Brandon Lake ’ s previously released “ Gratitude ” is an intimate moment of heart-felt worship that will bring you to your knees in thankfulness . The sound of 30,000 worshipers on this track really puts you right in the middle of the conference and I enjoyed every moment as I sang along in worship abandon .
Cody Carnes vocals soar into the rafters in the vertically focused “ Good ( Can ’ t Be Anything Else )” while worship legend ( and Cody ’ s wife ) Kari Jobe stirs the worshiper ’ s heart to be open to the work of the Holy Spirit in “ The Dove ”.
The title track “ I ’ ve Witnessed It ” was also previously released as a single and is led by Melodie Malone . This dynamic song of Easter victory is one of the best on the album as we are reminded of all the ways that Christ shows us His mercy , power and love in our daily lives and that because of His resurrection , we have no reason to fear no matter what befalls us .

It ’ s been a few years since we heard new music from former Mars Hill Worship collective , Citizens . Their 2020 LP , The Joy of Being was arguably their best work to date at the time as their sound shifted from their previous energetic quirkiness to a more mainstream pop / rock worship vibe . This subtle musical change appealed to a much wider audience and worked wonders for the band ’ s popularity . Their long-awaited follow-up , I Can ’ t Find The Edges Of You , continues in the same musical vein with eleven newly penned songs primarily focusing on the majesty and wonder of our God .
The lead track , “ All About You ” is a driving opener powerfully delivered by Kristian Stanfill that sets up their time of worship as we are reminded that the reason we gather for worship is all about Jesus and nothing else .
This is another in a long line of great Passion albums whose songs will appear in many Sunday setlists around the globe . Fans of the Passion movement and their music will be overjoyed with this offering .
Although the overall feel of their music is somewhat toned down , the melodies , arrangements , lyrics and delivery of these songs throughout this latest project are definitely Citizens .
