that we ' re all involved in at Passion City Church here in Atlanta . Yes , we had a few days of rehearsal the week before Christmas and then some rehearsals right before Passion . And then , everybody else rehearsed with their own teams . Obviously , we all had soundchecks . There were soundchecks through the night while we were at conference and that kind of thing . Every artist or band was able to rehearse . But there was also a really special time where we were all able to gather together for one of the first times ever this year . All of the speakers and artists , anyone who led at conference , we were able to just get together for a time of prayer in November and collectively say , " Hey , what if God didn ' t use you ? What are you sensing that the Holy Spirit is saying to you that needs to be said at conference ?" And so just as a for instance , to know the unity that was behind everyone leading was really empowering for every one of us involved . And so , that was really , really special , and I think we felt that the spiritual effects of the unity and to see what it looks like
What He ’ s Done
when the people of God come together behind the united purpose of the name of Jesus .
[ WM ] I love the song , “ What He ’ s Done ”. It features Kristian , Tasha , and Anna . It ’ s amazing how God has brought so many people , many of whom become good friends , from different streams together , for Passion . What are your thoughts on this ?
[ Melodie ] It ' s one of my favorite things ! Every year leading up to conference , we try and host some writing camps . We invite our friends . We invite people whom we know that the authority and the anointing of God is on their life , and we come together . We spend a few days writing and saying , " What do we feel like God wants to put into the mouth of these students , for this time , and for this place ?" And so , that ' s what happened with “ What He ' s Done ”.
Tasha and Anna came to a writing camp that we hosted at Passion City Church , and they wrote this song with Jacob Sooter , who is an incredible writer and Passion producer . And this all came out of that time together . It ' s just a beautiful song . It just talks honestly about how important gratitude is for what God ' s done for us , and how that can really shift our perspective in how we see life when we realize that it ' s all a gift .
And it ' s by grace through faith that we have been saved , and it ' s just this amazing picture of how scripture even says that we ' ll sing a new song . Because we ' ve sung the truth of what He ' s done for years and for centuries , but I
