[ WM ] Your LED wall is most impressive . Tell us first about it ? Made by who ?
[ Glen ] ChoiceLive ( previously Upstage Video ) vetted the screen for us . INFiLED , then built the screen specifically for Sight & Sound Theatres due to weight constraints and LED pixel color requirements . The screen is 113 ft wide ( the wingspan of a 737 ) and three stories high . It is the largest moving LED screen currently in theatrical use . Due to the screens weight and the fact that we needed it to “ fly ”, we had to bring in an outside company to handle our rigging . TAIT oversaw the work in Lancaster , PA while Wenger completed the job in Branson , MO . Comprised of 1,242 individual panels and 21 million individual pixels , the screen is completely transportable . It took us 152 cases , a 12-person crew , and 2 days to get the screen installed on stage .
[ WM ] You use of the LED wall is somewhat similar to the old “ View Master ” concept . A multi-dimensional foreground , mid ground and background . Tell us how you leverage this to enhance the productions ?
