and learned the song and sung it that night. It was pretty incredible. I mean, she’ s so anointed and unbelievable as a worship leader. I wanted to have her on that.
[ Benjamin ] Yeah, she’ s added so much. It’ s beautiful.
[ WM ] Well, and you had some great guests on this project too, Tiffany, Cody, Kari Jobe is on it, right? So just great guests. As I mentioned, last night I attended a profound evening of worship and it was with you guys leading the gathering. I hear that’ s going to be a live album, a live recorded version of what you’ ve just released as studio masters. And what a band last night. Who were the players?
[ Benjamin ] Oh my goodness. I mean, we’ re so lucky to be able to play with those guys. Danny McMurray was on the drums, he, I think, might be one of the best drummers I’ ve ever heard.
[ WM ] Well, as a drummer for almost 65 years, he’ s one of the best guys I’ ve heard. He was great. I really appreciated him.
[ Benjamin ] Completely. He’ s got such good feel and such a unique identity and fingerprint when he plays. And every time we play with him, I think it’ s only a matter of time before he gets stolen from us by some stadium act.
[ WM ] He played with ferocity. He was ferocious and yet had great finesse.
[ Benjamin ] And what I love about Dan as well is the way he flows. He plays like a worship leader. He already knows where you’ re going and even knows how to lead somewhere that you’ re not thinking about and it’ s always the right thing. So yeah, I love him so much. On bass, we had David Curran. Incredible bassist. He plays mostly with Brandon Lake. We had Nick Stailey. Nick was another guy from Brandon’ s team that we kind of actually pulled him in last minute. I think he got the call the night before because we just wanted to safeguard the track situation. So he came and ran tracks and played keys, did an amazing job. We had Ben Tan. Well, I mean, we’ ve both worked with Ben Tan for many years. He produced actually the Happy to Be Here record and did a great job. We’ ve both worked with him for years as a songwriter and a producer, incredible guitarist. He MD’ ed on Young and Free with Aodhan and worked on a lot of the Hillsong stuff. So he’ s the best. Megan Tibbits played harp and sang BGVs, and she was incredible. That’ s the first time we’ ve worked with her, but I got sent some videos of her about a year ago. My good friend sent me a video of her doing a cover of“ Goodness of God” on the harp and it was awesome. Caleb Yang, who was the cellist, I’ ve had Caleb on the road for the last few things I’ ve done and he’ s such a good player. Flows so well, such a beautiful spirit and presence, really kind guy. So it’ s always great to have him on it.
