constantly talking to one another with questions like“ What’ s happening in your church” and“ What’ s happening, in your congregation”. 
” What is the Lord doing and what’ s being burned in you?” Derek and Brett and I we’ re constantly talking about it. So, there were several songs that we did in Atlanta, that we didn’ t even know if they were going to go on the record or not, but they just moved in our hearts, and we could feel the Spirit on them. And I think every time we do write a song that we believe Jesus is on, we always are ready to send it at church regardless of whatever life it’ s supposed to have. 
 We don’ t test drive songs to see if they’ re going to work on a record. We just ask ourselves,“ Does this help your regular 9 to 5 guy who works in a cubicle and who’ s not musical at all? Does this help him connect with the Lord in a deeper level? Is that helping him have language to minister to God?” That’ s what I want to sing in our church. I don’ t care what happens with it, you know? 

[ WM ]“ Worthy of Hallelujah” is your newest project. 
 How has it been for you being some of the newer faces of Jesus Culture? What does it mean for you to carry the torch for a legacy ministry?
[ Brett ] Oh, my gosh. 
 How long do we have? 
 You know, honestly, it’ s an honor. You know, my story, I won’ t take up too much time, but my story with Jesus Culture starts way before I became a part of it. 
 In the early days when they were just a youth group in Redding, California, I started leading worship at a little farm town right outside of Redding called Chico. And the deeper I fell in love with Jesus, the more I was kind of yearning to discover, you know, just music that I could carry into my daily life that matched the level of zeal, power, and passion that I was experiencing in my hidden life with the Lord. And there were several people doing great things. I had an early Jesus Culture burned CD that someone gave me.
