WORSHIP MUSICIAN CHAPEL : Sunday morning we gather at the Hilton Hotel where NAMM graciously offers us a room there to meet . Bob Bennett presented music like only he can . You never know whether to listen to his acoustic guitar playing , understand his depth of lyrics or catch the melody of his voice … as he weaves it all together . And then veteran worship leader and pastor Eddie Espinosa gave an impactfully encouraging talk to all the musicians there . The music and message went hand-in-hand together … a sweet time of fellowship !

MY 40 TH ANAHEIM NAMM SHOW : This is quite a testimony to the faithfulness of God . I was teasing the folks at NAMM that they should give me a commemorative watch since I hit the 40- year mark . But who really deserves the watch is the Lord ! I have seen His faithfulness so many times to me over the years at NAMM . The first ten years I went as a retail buyer . The next four years I went as an ad salesman for different publications and then the last twenty-six years I have gone as the publisher of my own Christian Musician , Worship Musician and Collectible Guitar magazines . If we sat down together , I could tell you stories .

The Lord has given me favor and opened doors for me to start the Night of Worship concerts , to revive the old Ultimate support prayer meeting and turn it into the chapel service , to have a voice in the TEC Track workshops for the House of Worship community and to create the Pre-NAMM HANG at both the Anaheim and Nashville conventions .
The Lord has blessed me with relationships that have lasted decades there and the opportunity to have an exhibit booth too , where not only business can happen , but also ministry . All of this is to God ’ s glory ! He has been so kind as to give me a seat right in the middle of it all . I am humbled and grateful . Grateful to the Lord and also to the team of friends / staff that help me pull it off each year . I am thankful to my wife Judy who holds down the fort while I am away
