Be it the DL4, HD500, or Helix, no other brand has dominated the worship guitar multi-effects and modeling space the way that Line 6 has. With the announcement of Helix Stadium, Line 6 is poised to amplify this legacy on in a serious way.
As you quite possibly already know, Helix Stadium was announced at the 10 th Anniversary of the Helix livestream event. I was fortunate enough to be able to attend in person. In addition to getting a chance to play Helix Stadium, I also shot the two videos linked below, including an extended Q & A session with Eric Klein, Chief Product Design Architect at Line 6.
THE HELIX STADIUM PLAYING EXPERIENCE The biggest of many hallmarks Helix Stadium brings to the table are the new Agoura amp models. I was fortunate enough to do the‘ live demo’ with Brian Wahl and Bradford Mitchell from Worship Tutorials. Having three sets of hands and ears proved to be a huge help on a number of key fronts. The first model we started off with was the new Deluxe Reverb. One of my favorite things about a great Deluxe Reverb is that the Normal and Vibrato channels tend to sound surprising different, but in a good way. Both in feel and in tone when paired with a Fender Strat the Agoura model delivered all the things we love about a Deluxe including the disparity between channels.
