[ Linc ] We’ re probably 2,500-ish adults in the worship center over four services.
[ WM ] How many does your church seat?
[ Linc ] The building seats 1,250.
[ WM ] Good. Tell me about your console and your speakers in the worship center?
[ Linc ] We use a Waves LV1 system, and we use it both for church and for the road. I have a more compact version that I tour with called the Proton Duo. We have the bigger system called Access Extreme server and Axis Scope computers for church. They’ re really great. We love‘ em and the system really fits our needs. It allows us to use plugins and whatnot live. So, we love that and it’ s been rock solid, it’ s worked great. That’ s why I got it for the road as well.
We have front of house and monitors. We had a broadcast set up and we actually ended up taking it down. So, we run our broadcast off of front of house, but we do it through a matrix mix set up from some of our subgroups. That way we can add in crowds and a little different treatment for the broadcast.
But it’ s again, getting back to what works great and what’ s efficient, and we just didn’ t find that we needed that different of a mix for broadcast. And otherwise, when you’ re doing front of house and then doing broadcast totally separate and having to pull that mix up from zero, that requires two very capable engineers versus if you have one very capable guy, he’ s on the front of house and he can dial on a pretty smoking mix for the broadcast. So, with the console, you’ re able to do a lot of flexible things like that, different plugins if you want or whatever for the broadcast.
[ WM ] Right on. Let’ s talk about your new color of finish Fender now offers on your Signature Stratocaster. I’ m excited about that. Your gold finish is well known but you have added another option. Tell is what color finish you went with?
[ Linc ] Yeah, so it’ s Olympic Pearl white. I’ ve always loved Olympic White. And then I saw the Olympic Pearl white in a polyurethane on a different Fender guitar that they had sent me. It was actually during COVID, and I just got this wild hair. I was like,“ I love this color.” And I was sitting there looking at one of my signatures going,“ I could just take that apart and then just put this body on here. I wonder how it would look?“ So I just built the prototype myself at my house and then took a picture of it and sent it to Joey at Fender and was like,“ Check this out.” And that’ s kind of how it started. And the final version is done in Nitrocellulose Lacquer, which they hadn’ t done that color in lacquer before. And I always think the lacquer is prettier. And so, we did it. And one of the things I told Joey was,“ Man, I’ ve gotten such great responses to the guitar, to the design of the guitar.” So many people say what I hoped they would, which is
