Guitar > Keeley Compressor > POG > Little Green Wonder > 1981 > MCG Genesis ( The snoopy ) ( this is basically a blues driver ) > HX Stomp
In the HX stomp I ’ m using a Chorus on the stomp ( specifically the dimensions chorus with the first and fourth switch engaged and the mix set at 60 %) stomp and a tremolo controlled with tap tempo ( the trem is a standard Tremolo set to 16th notes controlled with the Tap , intensity at 6.6 , and set to sine wave ).
> From the trem I use a Matchtick amp como set pretty low to get a “ crunchy clean ” sound . > From the amp I use the effects loops to send signal to the DD500 and back into the HX stomp . > After the Loop block in the HX stomp I split the signal to have 2 different reverbs that are being controlled by the extra foot switch that allows me to add 2 more effects ( in this case 2 reverbs ) The reverbs are run in parallel The first is a Hall reverb that is always on The second is a Line 6 plateaux reverb Both reverbs are controlled with the extra footswitch . Footswith 4 moves the parameters of both reverbs . If I have the plateaux reverb off the parameters switch will only affect the hall reverb . The second switch ( footswitch 5 ) turns on the plateaux reverb . When I have both reverbs on at the same time I will have footswitch 4 off to not move parameters and just overall more “ air ” and . But when I have to do massive swells I ’ ll turn on footswith 4 to move the parameters of both reverb to give me a blend of both reverb , which in essence gives me a big reverb sound and also gives me a little more overtones and octaves that help over all with the ambient tones .
