THE WRAP-UP Honestly , these are just a few of the amazing things Quincy shares in his book . His words are inspiring , uplifting , and quite powerful . His concepts have provided him with great wealth , wisdom , and insights . The interviews were all at his beautiful home at the peak of the Bel Air hill . Barak Obama was elected president during the time we were working on the book . That was powerful to Quincy , which is understandable since he was a friend of Martin Luther King and most of the black leaders in the ’ 50s and ’ 60s . The stories he told me about being a black man in that are era are horrific . On one of my many visits to Quincy ’ s home , he had just had every major newspaper from the day Obama was elected exquisitely framed for display in his living area . He is a wonderful example of forgiveness and making a choice to choose love over hate .
