Scale Assistant is one of my favorite features . You can tell the Assistant what Key and scale you want to use . Then you can turn every note on your keyboard to the " right " note automatically . I found this so much fun for soloing and especially bass lines . It ' s such creative freedom for me as a guitar player to sound like a brilliant soloist on keys ! And thanks to Quantize you can ' t lose . It also works in conjunction with Chord Track and Chord Pad . With these three tools songwriters with less experience will be able to write high quality interesting tracks .
Switching to MIDI , there ’ s a great new Pitch Bend Editing feature that now has “ curves ” which creates smooth transitions without countless little Points when you are drawing a MIDI Velocity Curve , Ramp , or any MIDI CC parameters . This also makes it easier to keep your pitch changes in tune and editing a snap .
The new Stem Creator Is one of the things you ' ll come to love . All my clients want Stems , mostly for live backing tracks , teaching individual parts , and remixes . It ' s simple to use , and it ' s automated , so once you tell it what specific stem combinations you want , just hit start , and it will process everything in the cue one at a time . It can save hours of painstaking busy work .
Spectra Layers One is a powerful tool to determine if you have conflicting audio in your mix . It can also remove a vocal from a track . Pretty amazing !
