sweet time in the Lord. Thank you Jesus! What an honor that NAMM supports what we do there by offering us this meeting place for free.
This day would be split into two different directions. While I would have several more meetings on the convention floor, at the same time all day long Doug Doppler would be presenting seven different workshops as part of our Worship Musician Summit at the TEC Tracks there at the Hilton. Doug had planned several different talented guests to be on his panels( more of our friends too – Jeff Hawley, Jason Squires, Tom Brooks, Chris Rocha etc.). The attendees received good insights from them all.
I had several more meetings: Allen & Heath, Washburn, DOD, Takamine, Hi-Watt, Klang and more. The hi-light that day was seeing the new NORD Electro 7 keyboard. I can sure use one of those in my home studio. An even more powerful synth with stronger organ engines too. My kind of board!
Towards the end of the day teammate Brian Felix and I dismantled the booth, packed it up and then headed for John Wayne airport where we always look forward to a good meal there before the flight home to Seattle. Brian has volunteered the last 15 years or more to run our exhibit booth while I run around doing meetings. His friendliness and heart for ministry helps us to shine the light of the Lord at NAMM. Kudos to Brian!
There you go. NAMM 2026 is in the books. It was another remarkable time. Both busy, but fruitful. Perhaps you might want to join us next year? I hope so.
