just keep writing music and helping people.
[ WM ] And you’ re also on the road with Phil and Chris at different points?
[ Jamie ] I did a Chris Tomlin Christmas tour in December, so that was a huge blessing. He’ s incredible. And I’ m going out with Phil Wickham and Tauren Wells this spring.
People here, there and everywhere. We’ re going all around the country. They’ re really, really good guys. And I’ m excited to just learn from Phil, who’ s done this for so many years, and his heart is still so alive in God and so in tune with people. I think God has put just the right people in my path to give me just hope for my career. This can be something that God is in the center of and that I can stay alive doing, even though my life is busy and busier than ever. And I’ m like,“ Okay, God, I got to find you in the midst of all this.” I’ m excited to learn from them who’ ve done it so long and still have their hearts alive in God and in touch with people. And then I’ m going out with Toby Mac this summer and Zach Williams, and then I’ ll be going back out in the fall again with Phil.
[ WM ] Okay, wonderful. Phil is special to me because I’ ve known his Dad John, for almost 60 years. We were in bands together in high school. His Dad is one of the great guitar players of all time. And so, it’ s fun to see what’ s happened with Phil and Evan. Phil’ s brother.
