Dunlop : I ’ ve been using Dunlop Super Bright stainless steel roundwound strings with tapered B ( 45 / 130 ) for the past five years ; really fantastic tone and playability . They can sound crisp and zingy but are also quite versatile when a warmer tone is needed .
BackBeat : Anyone who regularly uses in-ear monitors definitely needs to try this “ portable , wearable sub-woofer ”. I wear one on my strap and it vibrates with low frequencies from my bass , making it feel like I ’ ve got a bass amp onstage next to me . So great !
Gruv Gear : I ’ ve had a long association with the fabulous people and products of Gruv Gear ; it ’ s stellar stuff . I use and love their FretWraps ( string dampers ), straps , Club Bag ( backpack designed for musicians ) and AMG 500 cart .

Aguilar ( effect pedals ): I ’ ve been longtime friends with the very cool folks at Aguilar , and have used various Aguilar effect pedals for years . I used the Tone Hammer and TLC Compressor pedals extensively during my years touring with Lincoln and used the Filter Twin on Grooves & Sushi .
Matthews Effects : I also achieved some really cool textural effects using my Matthews Effect Cosmonaut , Chemist and Conductor pedals on Grooves & Sushi .
