A SPRINT TO THE END OF 2024 ?

It might seem like the end of 2024 was a time of accelerated activity for me because it was . In early November in Tacoma , WA we held our 22 nd year of the Christian Musician Summit conference . It was an amazing time in the Lord ( check out the video links on Page 22 ). Then right after that our November issue of [ WM ] Worship Musician went “ live ” with more good training content for your entire worship team ( in case you missed it https :// joom . ag / 1KSd ).

We took a deep breath and then headed to Portland , Oregon for our 5 th Annual Rose Quarter Guitar Show . Vintage , new and used guitars , amps and effect pedals were everywhere . Upon returning home , we turned our attention to another annual item to produce – the

Worship Guitar Player BUYER ’ S GUIDE , where we featured seven prominent worship guitar players and their gear . Our readers want to know what others are using for gear , plus we peppered some good ministry advice inside it as well . Here is the link to that https :// joom . ag / kY7d

With the BUYER ’ S GUIDE successfully launched , we started working on this very December issue you are reading right now . Our 12 th monthly issue of the year . Wow , time flies when you enjoy the work the Lord has given you to do .

This Sunday I am playing bass for a special Christmas song our little church choir is singing . Then I trust we will have a time to throttle back some and reflect on the magnificent reason for the season . Thank you Lord !

As January 2025 is just around the corner ,

there is preparation for the first issue of the year , and then the major event of the NAMM Convention in Anaheim , CA where we have several activities that we produce . We have our Pre-NAMM HANG , our Worship Musician Summit TEC Tracks ( seven workshops that we present in a row – go Doug Doppler go !) and the Worship Musicians ’ Chapel . This year for the chapel service we have Tommy Coomes as the guest speaker and Bob Bennett back as our guest musician . Pretty amazing eh ? I think so . Perhaps you can join us there .
