Acoustic Guitar : None at the moment .
Electric Guitar : My primary is my Custom Veritas Portlander black sparkle . It ’ s been my tried and true and I absolutely love it . | $ 3500 plus
My second is a Special Edition MIM White Fender Jazzmaster . It ’ s a ripper guitar and a rhythm machine . | $ 1,500
My third is a simple Player Edition HH Fender Telecaster . I added a baritone neck to it and turned it in to a humbucker baritone . It ’ s one of the biggest sounding guitars I own . | $ 880 + $ 400 ( for baritone neck )
Guitar Amp : My all-time favorite is my JMI 30 / 6 . It ’ s a 60 ’ s Vox AC30 recreation with incredible 100-watt Fane Alnico Blues . It has all the things you ’ d love about an AC30 except for the breakup is even more stunning and it has huge low end . | Ballpark $ 3,500
An honorable mention is my new Blankenship Carry On Combo loaded with Gold Alnicos . Roy Blankenship is a master amp builder . It is the most articulate and touch sensitive amp I ’ ve ever used . It was recently used on a song and the engineer said , “ I used no EQ on it ”. | $ 2,500
Effect Pedal : Solo Dallas Storm | $ 229 Basically , anything from Solo Dallas . The Storm took me by surprise as one of the most diverse Boosts / Drives . With its limiter I have so many options of use for it . I change its use all the time from massive rhythm with fizzy grit , to higher limiter to tighten dynamics , or have it before drives to boost and absolutely send it . Or have it after drives , with high limiter and low drive to create a tight and punchy clean tone . aragornguitars . com
