HALFWAY THROUGH DECEMBER ALREADY ?

Wowzers ! Where did 2023 go ? I am grateful for another year of good issues of the magazine , plus various BUYER ’ S GUIDE publications , and the 21 st year of the Christian Musician Summit conference just weeks ago . It was an amazing time in the Lord . You will hear more about that in this December issue .

I was also able to revive Worship Musician ’ s sister publication , Collectible Guitar , with a special focus on C . F . Martin ’ s custom shop guitars . All of these various publications are easy to access ; please check them out .

This past year , I attended my 40 th NAMM Convention in Anaheim , CA , and it was a remarkable time , as well . In fact , NAMM set aside time to do a video interview with me , and I was able to share some of my story with them . Click here to watch the interview .

In addition , I produced four mainstream guitar shows up and down the West Coast .

• July : OC VIBE Guitar Festival , Anaheim , CA ;

• September : Seattle-Tacoma Guitar Show , Kent , WA ;

• December : Rose Quarter Guitar Show , Portland , OR .

Not to mention , I help a large four-day Bluegrass Festival as their Vendor Coordinator here in the Northwest each February .

So perhaps with all of this going on , that might explain the feeling of “ where did the year go ?”

It is a gift from the Lord when you enjoy your work , and I want to publicly thank the Lord again for what I am able to do in my vocation . I haven ’ t been bored in 30 years , and I really do wake up not thinking that I “ have to ” go to work but that I “ get to .” I am a blessed man . Praise God !
