Jeremy Riddle is a Worship Pastor in Southern California . He has written and co-written such beloved worship anthems as “ This Is Amazing Grace ” ( with Phil Wickham ), “ Sweetly Broken ”, and “ All Hail King Jesus ”. His latest full-length album entitled Live In The Prayer Room contains twelve fresh songs of passionate and deep worship that showcases not only Riddle ’ s incredible vocal chops , but his deep writing ability bringing the listener closer to the heart of God .
The opening track , “ His Name Is Jesus ” immediately puts us right in the middle of the throne room surrounded by mystery and intensity in musical arrangement as Riddle confidently sings about the many names that the Bible uses to describe the King of Kings .
The main thematic heartbeat running throughout this album is to proclaim the reign and glory of Christ both in our moments of corporate worship as well as our everyday lives . Riddle ’ s message is clear that the body of Christ needs to remind themselves daily of who sits on the throne . Songs like “ Reigning , “ We Crown You ” and “ Jesus Have It All ” help bring this theme to life in striking musical fashion .
“ Reigning ” is a call for the body of Christ to return to their knees giving glory and to live lives of pure worship to the one who sits on the throne while “ We ’ re Here For You ” would make a great service opener with its four-on-the-floor backbeat , piano arpeggios and gathering lyrical focus that is sure to get people ready to shout and dance in honest worship .
“ We Crown You ” is a hook-laden mid-tempo song of heartfelt vertical worship that gives full honor and adoration to the God who sacrificed everything for us on the cross . The chorus is memorable and would make a perfect song for a Good Friday Service or anytime you celebrate communion .
Jeremy Riddle is one of the most passionate and honest worship leaders in the genre today . His songs are well-written , poignant and Biblically centered . There were many times while listening to this collection that I felt like I was actually in the prayer room , face down , tears streaming down my face in full and complete worshipful surrender . This is a great album .

Matt Maher is one of the more unique artists in the worship genre not only because he is Catholic , but also because his writing is born from a more sacred and theologically rich background . He is a mature writer who digs deep into the rich soil of the Gospel and by doing so , gifts the church with meaty songs of honest praise and worship that make you consider your own faith .
