SOUND CHECK
For some reason I have always seem to be someone that others will come to and ask advice from concerning their musical instruments . Part of that might be from the different vocational positions I have held in my life so far . Whether from managing a music store in Los Angeles for 11 years , to publishing gear-centric magazines for the last 25 years - [ WM ] Worship Musician now , and [ CM ] Christian Musician and [ CG ] Collectible Guitar in the past . Or from co-producing the Christian Musician Summit conferences for the last 19 years or from producing three different mainstream guitar festivals / shows here in the Northwest . Then there is the 40 years of attending NAMM Shows and seeing the latest gear when it is released . So , I can see why I get asked suggestions for what to buy .
When I go to answer these questions however , I want to be open and as fair as I can be . I may have my personal favorites , but there is usually a host of options and I try and guide
folks to see what is best for them in their own circumstances – which honestly can vary quite a bit .
It was with this in mind that the first-ever
Worship Guitar Player BUYER ’ S GUIDE was born . I went to our staff writers / contributors from [ WM ] and asked them to give their recommendations too with several guitarcentric items – acoustic and electric guitars , amps , pedals / modeling units , strings , favorite worship guitar player YouTube video and worship album from 2021 .
We then blended in product profiles , links to recent worship guitar player interviews and product reviews in [ WM ] from this past year and I really like how it all turned out .
