[ WM ] What can you tell us about your new Christmas release and in what ways might you appreciate this year ’ s holiday season , perhaps as never before ?

[ Ed Cash ] ( We the Kingdom ) - I love the words of Jesus . “ I am the Light of the world . Whoever follows me will never walk in darkness but will have the light of life ”. Such an incredible promise . Our new song “ Light of the World ( Sing Hallelujah )” was started a few years ago , but we just finished writing it and we believe it was for such a time as this . There is always darkness in the world , but it feels , at least to us , so present right now . So much , much , division , hatred , anxiety and the list goes on . This song reminds us to turn our eyes to a Higher Kingdom , and a Higher King and Ruler - Lord of all – Jesus . He is the only hope for this broken world . We are excited to celebrate His birth this year maybe more than ever . 2020 has been so difficult in so many ways , but it ’ s reminded us of the importance of trusting in God through it all . He ’ s the Rock we can have confidence isn ’ t going to crumble .
Passion
[ Francesca Battistelli ] This new Christmas album was a joy to make . In a very hard year for all of us , to get to write , sing , and record such joyful music was a gift . The album is full of Christmas classics that will make you nostalgic and originals that honor family and point to Jesus . This year , as these songs become the soundtrack to our season , I look forward to spending time with loved ones and not taking even one minute for granted !
