Worship Without Limits //
PHILLIP RENNER by Bruce Adolph
I first heard about Phillip Renner when my wife and I were watching his father Rick Renner ’ s television program . Rick is a well-known Bible teacher who illuminates the Greek words behind the scriptures . Pastor Rick felt the call to up and move his family ( wife and three sons ) from the Bible belt of America - Tulsa , OK - to the former Soviet Union when Phillip was just six years old . Quite a culture shock ! The ministry that blossomed out of obeying that call is quite remarkable . Now Phillip is following the Lord ’ s call on his own ministry and again – the outcome is quite remarkable .
[ WM ] Phillip , as a young child you and your family moved to the former Soviet Union . Your family faced many hardships pursuing ministry there and founding first one church and then others . What did you learn from the Lord growing up in this time as a youth ?
[ Phillip Renner ] Everything that my family has ever done has been impossible . I watched God move us from the U . S . to Latvia to build a church , which was a miracle as no church had been built since Communism had taken over for 70 years . This time prepared us for our work in the former Soviet and then later to Moscow to birth the first Christian TV network . I saw God provide everything when we no had no money ! Where there is a vision , there will always be provision ! Where there is faith anything is possible ! We saw the impossible become possible on a regular basis . I watched my parents walk out faith every single day
[ WM ] At what time did you step into the ministry itself and when did you see that leading worship was going to be a part of what you were called to do ?
