NEW MUSIC
ELEVATION RHYTHM WASHED
Several songs stand out immediately.“ All Authority” opens the album with bold confidence, proclaiming Christ’ s victory and kingship.“ He Is Here,” featuring John Wilds, beautifully captures the nearness of God during seasons of uncertainty.“ Seen Too Much” may be the emotional centerpiece of the project, declaring that God’ s faithfulness has been witnessed too many times to give in to doubt. The title track, featuring Alexander Pappas, serves as the album’ s mission statement, reminding listeners that worship is ultimately the response to a lifetime of experiencing God’ s goodness.
Perhaps the album’ s greatest strength is its authenticity. There is no sense that these songs were written simply to produce another worship hit. Instead, they feel like journal entries transformed into corporate worship. That sincerity gives the project an emotional weight that cannot be manufactured.
With Reason That I Sing, Bethany Wohrle establishes herself not merely as another gifted worship vocalist, but as a compelling songwriter whose life experiences have shaped songs that point listeners toward the unchanging character of God. It is a worship album filled with hope, anchored in truth, and carried by one simple conviction: when you’ ve experienced the faithfulness of Jesus, you’ ll always have a reason to sing.

Since launching in 2022, ELEVATION RHYTHM has become the youth-focused voice of the Elevation family. While Elevation Worship often writes for the broader Church, RHYTHM creates energetic songs aimed at students and young adults. Their latest live album, WASHED, continues that mission with nine songs centered on identity, freedom, and the saving grace of Christ.
Recorded during Elevation Church’ s weekly youth gatherings, the album captures an authentic live atmosphere filled with energy and passionate worship. The title track,“ WASHED,” is the clear highlight, celebrating the life-changing power of salvation with a memorable chorus. Other standout moments
include“ THANK GOD I’ M FREE,” featuring Lizzie Morgan, and“ AMAZING!,” featuring Josiah Queen, both of which add excitement and joy to the project.
Musically, WASHED delivers polished production, catchy melodies, and plenty of youthful energy. Lyrically, the songs focus on foundational truths such as redemption, freedom, and belonging in Christ. While the writing isn’ t as deep or reflective as some recent worship releases, its simplicity makes the songs easy to learn and well-suited for youth ministries and student worship teams.
Some tracks begin to sound similar as the album progresses, but the album never loses its focus. Rather than trying to be groundbreaking, WASHED succeeds by offering Christ-centered songs that connect with the next generation and encourage them to boldly live out their faith.
