video shoot . I plan to tour it this summer with Katy Nichole as well . Might purchase a touring specific drum kit in the fall , but waiting to find out what that tour will look like .
[ WM ] Can you list one or two worship albums that inspire your own worship drumming ?
[ Nicole ] I would say Luke Anderson ’ s drumming for Elevation Worship was a huge influence as well as anything Paul Mabury does ! Paul plays drums for everybody , so it ’ s hard to narrow down a specific album but I loved his playing for All Son ’ s and Daughters , and Brooke Fraser ( now Ligertwoods ) Albertine record ! I ’ m loving Brooke Ligertwoods Seven album right now , but neither of those two drummers are on that record that I ’ m aware of :)
[ WM ] Any drum gear endorsements for you ?
[ Nicole ] I work with 64 Ears , Heartbeat cymbals , Loop Communities Track Rig , and Vertical Drum Co . as of right now .
[ WM ] What was the experience like supporting the Women Who Worship project with your drumming ?
[ Nicole ] It was humbling and an honor ! To play alongside so many phenomenal musicians and singer / songwriters was intimidating yet really fun ! It was a jam-packed day , starting early in the morning setting up , rehearsing all day , then just hitting it as soon as the event started . As much as I wanted to prepare for that night , God really took over and moved through the room and took the songs in directions we couldn ’ t have really prepared for . A whirlwind of a day ,
