Michael Farren. “Greater Realms of Glory” is a
beautiful anthem. What can you tell us about
this offering?
[Phil] So I was at dinner one night, actually
at Burger Up down on 12 th South, with a
couple of guys from the Upper Room team. It
was the night before I was going to write the
song, I didn’t know I was going to write that
song, but the night before I was going to write
with Farren. I was talking with someone that
was a friend of mine in Nashville when I lived
there in my early twenties. That season and
some of those friends would be Stone Meyer,
who leads worship at The Bridge now, and
is their head guy in Spring Hill. Lauren Hegel
was one of our friends, and Judah Acres from
Judah and the Lion. Just a lot of people that I
follow their lives and now they’re really doing it.
But we had this friend group that was the first
time I saw miracles. It was the first time I saw
the Holy Spirit move like that. I remember too,
