How have you “processed” the extensive opportunities that have opened up to you? [Henry] As I look back on my life’s experiences, I am happy to report that I still feel as excited as I ever have just to have someone reach out to me and ask me to do anything musically. I still feel the need to get up every day and make it count. If anything, I feel that the opportunities I have had and still have require me to “step up my game” to the next level - seriously. Most of the great leaders in the Bible achieved their most seminal work well into their “mature” age. As long as the Lord allows me to use what he have given… and it’s truly his gift that I work daily to perfect… I will press on until he calls me home. I will never forget when I turned 50 almost having to repent for thinking I could just retire and rest on my “laurels.” It seems that in the course of one week I heard three different sermons that rebuked that thought, one by T.D.
