melodies to stories that are happening in my own life, around me or in the world. I think I also give myself permission to not box myself but to be really open to what the Holy Spirit wants to write. [WM] You have a nice mix of electronica instrumentally in your songs. What music influenced you in this area? [Elle] Good question - I’m not really sure! I love to dance so that probably has a big influence on the direction of the production. I also really want to write and connect with my generation and young people. My dream is that they would connect with the songs and also use them as tools in their walks with God but also tools to share their faith. I just think it would be awesome if they could add some of my songs to their party playlists or even play them in clubs - I just love the idea of people singing songs of hope over themselves! [WM] In the same way Delirious? had some infectious and danceable beats, you have those aspects too. For example, tell us about the song “Fly”? [Elle] Fly is a call for our generation to be set apart and different from what the world tells us. Sometimes in life, we get weighed down by our reality which can stop us from living in the freedom Jesus won for us. In this song, we It was crazy because I never thought I’d ever collaboration and co-writing. I love being a part acknowledge our reality, but look up to God write my own music or do the whole artist of a team. Songs might come to me at church who has made a way for us to live a life full of thing.
