felt like God bent down and kissed that time.
I was working at this church overseeing a lot
of the creative direction, primarily on the music
side of the college ministry and the student
ministry. That was when we basically started
writing songs, God was doing something that
felt so tangible. It was so holy and so spiritual
that it began to be tangible, you could touch it,
you could feel it, you could see it. Our response
was just to write about it. So all of this was
coming out of a really natural place. We didn’t
have experience and we didn’t know what we
were doing, but the church was responding. I
