Mosaic MSC, “MSC” being the abbreviation
for “music”, is a large musical and worship
community birthed from within Mosaic (Church)
in Los Angeles. Mosaic beautifully and uniquely
emerges from literally every race, ethnic group,
and economic stream, and was founded and
is pastored by Erwin McManus. Mariah (Erwin’s
daughter) and Andres (Andy) are both part of
Mosaic MSC and sat down with me for a great
time of insight and practices regarding their
calling.

Philippe’s
Growing up near Los Angeles myself, one of
my favorite downtown restaurants is the 100+
year old, Philippe’s. That’s because it is one of
the few places in life where the famous and the
homeless; the rich and the poor; the Black,
White, and Brown. The blue, white, and pinkcollar
workers, all dine together at communal
tables. It is a wonderful experience, and it was
always a stop on the way to a Dodgers game
with my Dad. MOSAIC, as a church and as part
of your posted worship videos, seems to also
