Endless Praises with a warm piano and cello backing and “I Am Great Are You Lord Dave Miller is the Worship Pastor at the Trent Vineyard Church in Nottingham, UK where he has been writing and releasing songs over the past few years. His debut release, Twelve:One finds its thematic roots in Romans 12:1 which says, “Therefore, I urge you, brothers and sisters, in view of God’s mercy, to offer your bodies as a living sacrifice, holy and pleasing to God, this is your true and proper worship”. The idea of surrender of Jesus as a response to you are more than enough”. I was pleasantly surprised by this album. There are a few spots where the cliché’s raise their ugly head and the overall arrangements and musical choices are nothing new but the writing is solid throughout and Dave Miller sounds like a young Martin Smith which was a bit nostalgic for this reviewer. There are some great songs here that should find their way into your Sunday morning setlist. His ultimate sacrifice for us is the central focus of the thirteen-track album which is a nice mix of previously released Vineyard tracks and newly penned songs.
