White Falcon one weekend at church and
instantly fell in love! So much that I went right
out the next week and bought mine!
[WM] What about Gretsch guitars makes
them great for Worship music?
[Lance]
Their
super
clean
signature
humbuckers cooperate so well with any variety
of pedal effects and amps. And aesthetically,
it’s what I imagine I would see being played in
God’s throne room :)
[WM] What are some of your favorite tracks
that you cut using a Gretsch?
[Lance] I’ve played it on so many tracks,
it’s honestly hard to remember (laughs), but
here are a few that really stand out: “Oh What
Perfect Love” - London Gatch, “There Is a
Cloud” - Elevation Worship, “Yours” - Elevation
Worship and “We Rejoice” - Elevation Worship.
[WM] What would you like to say to the
folks at Gretsch in celebration of their

[Lance] Thank you Gretsch Guitars for
making such beautiful and reliable instruments

No joke! Happy Anniversary Gretsch! Here’s to

JAMES DUKE aka THE JAMES DUKE
Currently a member of the Church of the City
Worship team in Franklin, TN, the question that
comes to mind is, “Who hasn’t he played with?”
If you were looking for a more storied Worship
biggest influences were my friends and band
mates. James Duke would play his hollow body
Gretsch a lot before I got one, and I remember
loving the uniqueness of its tone.
The thing that really pushed me to get my own
Gretsch was when I borrowed Mack Brock’s
