I have had the privilege of booking Doyle Dykes
to play at least ten times in my life. As the
years pass, Doyle just keeps getting better in
his playing, in his live stage performance and
in his uncanny ability to minister to all kinds of
different audiences. He ministers by his home
spun stories filled with country charm, by his
patriotism for this country and actually through
just his instrumental guitar playing abilities all

The tool he uses for that last part is this Doyle
Dykes Signature Multiac Steel guitar. I have
spoken with Doyle several times while they
were developing this special instrument and it

is the combination of a great guitar and the
special electronics. I have always loved LR
Baggs pickups. I have three Olson guitars and

something like the Olson, the folks at LR Baggs
also installed the Lyric microphone underneath
