what made you decide to start doing so?
[Chris] I’ve been selling them for about two
years now and it’s been a huge blessing to
my life to be able to help other guitar players
acquire the sound they want and have them
bless me as well. I got into the idea of selling
them when I got a lot of request to do so. I
didn’t even know it was possible until I saw that
other guitar players were making a business
out of it.
[WM] When you create patches, do you
usually use HX Edit or do you prefer to work
from Helix itself?
[Chris] I prefer to use the HX Edit software
cause it’s much faster and having a visual on
what you’re modifying is very helpful. I also like
how easy it is to copy and paste blocks and
settings.
[WM] From start to finish, how long does it
usually take you create your patches?
[Chris] I usually take a whole day to work
all the different patches in a product. I like to
create sounds for all the different dynamics I
use in a concert setting that way the user can
use them for almost all of the songs that they’ll
be playing. There are a couple preset bundles
that took me more than a while to create.
My Titan HX Stomp Presets took me a while
because I kept modifying them.
[WM] You have a huge following that includes
a lot of Latin Worship guitar players. Has making
your presets available for purchase been a part
of growing that audience?
[Chris] I believe so. What I like most about
