Bentley "The Compost Guy" Christie have plans available to make a small scale wooden CFT bin. Its design is compact and nice looking but does include all the advantages of a large scale / industrial CFT:
- it has a depth of over 20"
- harvested castings are almost free of worms and cocoons
- it has a false bottom and an a greatly ventilated lid
- caster wheels allows it to be moved from its location
