The Worm Inn

The Worm Inn was born from Bentley's crazy brain when he saw an Australia product called the Worm Swag. Bentley decided he would make a similar worm farming system out of an old pair of jeans. This has lead one of his reader to design what turned out to be one of the best domestic worm farming system ever: the Worm Inn.

In a nutshell, the Worm Inn is made of Cordura, a very strong and durable fabric that at the same time allows the bedding to breathe. This breathability is what makes it so good. The extra oxygen input allows the system to sustain a higher population density of composting organisms and this include composting worms. The Worm Inn can actually sustain three times the worm density of a regular plastic stacking worm farm, that means it can process three times more food scraps in the same amount of time.

Harvesting the vermicompost from the Worm Inn does not require any lifting. There is an opening at the bottom which is tied by a rope.

The Worm Inn Mega

The Mega, as its fans call it, is the big brother. As the Worm Inn has a foot print of 18x18", the Mega is just 20x20" but is 130% larger.

The Worm Inn is 2.25 sqft with a composting capacity of 13.5 lbs of food scraps per week.

The Mega is 2.78 sqft with a composting capacity of 16.68 lbs of food scraps per week.

Another advantage of both systems is their depth of over 20" which classify them as real CFT (Continuous Flow Through) systems. That means the vermicompost harvested from these systems will be almost free of cocoons and worms.
