Score Review Process
POINT DEDUCTIONS, LEGALITY INFRACTIONS, RANGE For Prelims and Semifinals
Scoresheets will be available approximately 30 minutes after your performance. The review process time frame begins once the scoresheets are emailed, NOT when they are read. The scoresheet email will include your scoresheet, point deduction and legality infractions, if any are called. If, after reviewing your team’ s routine and scores, you feel that your team was given a point deduction that was not warranted, a difficulty score that is out-of-range or a legality infraction that is not accurate, please follow this process:
1. You have 20 minutes following the scoresheet emailing to complete the review process. The window of opportunity to complete the process begins when the email was sent, not read. 2. Score Review is located in one venue for all performance: Upper level of Arena outside of Arena East. 3. During all scoring reviews, routines will be watched from start to finish and can be assessed additional findings in scoring and point deduction review. 4. Please make sure the correct form is submitted separately; i. e., Legality Infraction, Point Deduction, Scoring. 5. Turn in the form at the Score Review table. 6. Your form will be reviewed by a scoring official. 7. If honored, you will receive a new set of scoresheets reflecting the change. If denied, information will be emailed to you.
ELIGIBLE FOR REVIEW
• Point deductions
• Legality infractions
• Scores that are not in the high range for difficulty in the following categories: Stunts, Pyramids, Tosses, Jumps and Running / Standing Tumbling
NOT ELIGIBLE FOR REVIEW
• In-range difficulty
• Technique scores
• Building creativity
• Overall scoresheet categories
Each performance will earn a score for that day’ s performance in relation to the other teams competing that day, within that division. Scores from each day will not be discussed in relation to any other day’ s scores and / or performances of other teams. You should expect scores from Prelims, Semifinals and Finals to be different as you are competing against different teams and / or against different performances with each day being its own competition.
