Fooled
Got a tip on two cars that were standing at a forest edge outside Övik. Göran showed me where to drive to get there but the road becam too bad. So you think it is just to run into the woods and shoot old cars?
After I slipped up half the hill I begin to suspect that all was not right because I saw clear traces of a tractor which lagged and also found some metal parts on the road. When I was almost down at the bottom the gravity decided to play with me as my legs
flew not to lift the entire body but I tumbled on the slopes with a reading of 3.0 on the Richter scale down the pits with mud with a only thought in my head and that was to protect the camera so the arms upwards with camera. When stopped I lay floundering in the mud and was anything but clean.
Up again and down to those last 100 yards and into the woods where the cars would be and what did I find?
-Two clear marks of cars that were no longer. One of them being a 50’s Opel Captain. We were two days late.
Mercury in 1954 with the wrong color
The stories are that a lot of cars are set aside
by any trifle.
It was the case with this 1954 Mercury. The reason was that it had a larger and more powerful V8 than sitting in the owners’ black Mercury. The only fault
