The day after we packed our things and drove south again. Next stop was Carmel by the Sea, another recommendation, this time from a friend back in Sweden. A gorgeous little city by the sea in which Clint Eastwood was selected as mayor 1986.
Carmel is a beautiful place with several nice hotels, restaurants and houses and known for its natural scenery and rich artistic history. We spent the day and a night in Carmel and continued our trip down to Santa Barbara the day after to visit Emelie for a few days before the drive to Las Vegas. Vegas.. What to say? A completely crazy, awesome and great city that you have to go to at least once in your life.
Emelie's friends from Santa Barbara were also in Vegas that weekend to tofrom1962 to1970.
