Sala’s very own Ford enthused family couldn’t resist bringing in the youngest member of their family in the right way. Baptism and Fords will be going hand in hand for little Wilmer Dimberg on his festive day.
Surrounded by Fords Families cars, Wilmer Dimberg was about to get a Ford of his own. His mother walks out holding a 1:16 scale model. Little Wilmer face lit with excitement, he knew instantly he
had just became the proud owner of a 64 Galaxie.
A scaled down model of his mothers. Per-Ivar Jansson standing tall and proud with the top down in a blue and white 59 Galaxie Sunliner. Back in his day he was Swedens youngest Folkracer. (Stock car racing on gravel) Although with little surprise young Per-Ivar had already been infected with the car “bug”. A shadow that hasn’t left his side since first bit at age 5. Eleven years later their he was, 16 overtaking experienced driver on the gravel.
Now most gearheads start off going to meets with Dad at an early age. Well in Per-Ivar’s case it wasn’t just meetings. Dad took him to the local meet at the Domus(like CVS) parking lot.
